Dentures are a good and affordable option to replace multiple teeth. They consist of artificial teeth that are joined to a denture base. A well-made denture will be supported by your gums and/or teeth, and will be stable and comfortable to wear and eat with. It can be removed from the mouth and cleaned, making sure your teeth and gums stay healthy.

 

Dentures can either be partial (replacing a few teeth in the arch) or full (replacing all the teeth in the arch). There are 3 types of dentures available:

• Normal acrylic denture – fully plastic

• Flexible acrylic denture – fully plastic

• Cobalt-chrome denture – metal base with plastic gums and teeth
